For grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, I recommend two to three follow up sessions, however you will notice a tangible shift in how you feel after one.

To learn powerful self-care techniques to manage your own emotional health, I recommend one to two sessions.
For issues around food, a fear of public speaking or flying, stage fright or phobias e.g. needles, animals, driving, vomit - two to three sessions.
I recommend 60minutes for children 11yrs+.
For follow up sessions, 45minutes is ideal for goal-setting, motivation, professional development & interview preparation, to maintain emotional health and for general self-care.
45minutes recommended for children under 10.
